MID-AMERICA ASSOCIATION OF DIVISION ORDER ANALYSTS (MAADOA) Based in the Wichita, KS Area Half of the year just slipped past us; time flies. Time is nearing for our annual educational seminar hosted by MAADOA. This year the date is October 7, 2016 at Co- Bank in Wichita, Kansas. We are finalizing our speakers and scheduling their times. The Registration form will be out shortly. If you are interested, please contact us and we will send you one. The August Member meeting hosted attorney John Pike. He always gives us pertinent and interesting title problems and answers a few questions along the way.

This past quarter has been extremely busy for the West Texas chapter. We wrapped up our first CDOA review session which resulted in three new CDOAs for our chap- ter; this brings our grand total for 2016 to FOUR new Certified Division Order Analysts! We also had our annual Spring Seminar at the Midland Horseshoe Arena. There were several wonderful speakers and topics including Escheat and Drilling in City Limits. The day was fulfilling and successful and we are so thank- ful for those that attended. Our organization does not meet during the summer months, but the board is hard at work planning and organizing our Fall schedule and we look forward to the rest of the year!
