Special arrangements are made for the accommodation and studies of fore ign mi ss ionaries returned on furlough. Such should write to the Institute for further information. They are warmly welcomed. Vacations The regular classes of the Institute are not in session dur­ ing July, August. and part of September, though special lec­ tures a re given from time to time during those months. · Between each term provision is made for a vacation , vary­ ing from ten clays to two weeks. ( See ca lendar, page 7 ) . Term Certificates Term certificates are given to those who have been present from the beginning to the close (Graduation Exercises) of the Term, ( excused absences excepted ), who have regularly at­ tendee! the ass igned classes and passed the exami nat ions in those classes. and whose pract ical work and Chri st ian character have aJ)provecl them to the facu lty. Diplomas Diplomas will be granted upon the fo llowing conditions: 1. Two years' residence in Los Angeles, and attendance upon the prescribed classes. Due credit will be allowed for work clone in our Cor re­ spondence School, or in other institutions, which is similar or equivalent to that offered by the Institute. The amount of credit will be decided by the teacher in the particular course in question.
