The 1981 Frog’s Leap Sauvignon Blanc reflects the winery’s long- standing vision of a dry, food-friendly wine with both substance and finesse. For more than four decades, Frog’s Leap has remained committed to this ideal, producing a 100% Sauvignon Blanc that emphasizes low alcohol, bright acidity, and crisp yet complex flavors. Made from certified organic, dry-farmed vineyards along the Napa River, the wine is whole-cluster pressed, cold-fermented in stainless steel, and aged on the lees to preserve freshness while adding depth, resulting in a wine that is distinctly expressive of its place of origin. Certified organic and dry-farmed vines. Soil types are primarily the clay-heavy sloughs of the Maxwell series, as well as the deep river clay-silt loams at Galleron and Longwood.
