&/#3&'r#3*&'4 CLOSED MEETINGS RECORDED Hawkesbury council will video record its in-camera meetings. Council accepted a recommendation from the Ontario Ombudsman to make either video or audio records of its closed meetings. Standard practice has been to keep written minutes of the in-camera sessions. The Ombudsman stated that video or audio recordings provide a clear record of proceedings and can assist the Ombudsman in case of any inquiries about closed meeting procee- dings. – Gregg Chamberlain TRAILER GRAFFITI Hawkesbury Ontario Provincial Police officers are investigating after truck trailers were graffitied in the town. The 53-foot trailers were parked on a Hawkesbury area property at the time. Anyone with information was asked to contact the police at 613-632-2729 or 1-888-310-1122. - Stephen Jeffery ATV ROUTES The United Counties of Prescott-Russell (UCPR) will amend a bylaw to allow ATV travel on particular sections of county roads within Champlain Township, based on township recommendations.
