There were 956 detached listings in Richmond in May 2019, virtually unchanged from April and 7% higher than in May 2018. The 82 detached sales were a 100% increase month- over-month but were 6% below May 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio increased to 9% in May, as Richmond’s detached market remained favourable to buyer’s. The benchmark price was $1.50M in May—1.8% below April 2019 and a 13% decrease from May 2018. The average sold price was $1.64M, 4% above last month but 14% lower year-over-year.
