The number of May detached listings in the Fraser Valley board area were up 7% from April (at 4,045), and were 8% above May 2018. Detached sales increased by 16% from April, to 625, but were down 15% vs May 2018. The sales-to-listings ratio slightly increased to 15%, as the board area’s condo market continued to be balanced. The benchmark price in May was $964,200, virtu- ally unchanged vs the previous month and 6% lower year-over-year. The average sold price in May was $1.03M, 2% higher month-over-month but 2% lower year-over-year.
