Global Graphics Enters Deal To Acquire Hybrid Software Global Graphics has entered into a binding condi- tional agreement with Congra Software for the pro- posed acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Hybrid Software Group from Congra. Hybrid Software is a group of software development and marketing companies focused on enterprise soft- ware for the graphic arts industry, with a strong fo- cus on labels and packaging. It is registered in Luxem- bourg and has subsidiaries in Belgium, Germany, Italy, France and the United States. Hybrid Software’s two main product lines,Cloudflow and Packz, offer native PDF workflow and editing, vari- able data linking and imposition, vendor-independent software based on industry standards, scalable tech- nology and low total cost of ownership. These prod- ucts are used by more than 1,000 customers world- wide in all areas of pre-press and printing, including labels and packaging, folding cartons, corrugated, and wide format. Consideration for the acquisition is EUR 80 million, which will be satisfied in full by issuing 21,074,030 Global Graphics shares to Congra (the Consideration Shares).
Fujifilm Achieves G7 Master Qualification On Flexo Press FUJIFILM North America Corporation’s Graphic Sys- tems Division Graphics Innovation Hub in Hanover Park, Illinois, has achieved G7 Master Qualification with Targeted compliance (CRPC6) on its flexograph- ic press, awarded by Idealliance (Alexandria, Virgina), a not-for-profit industry group dedicated to guiding print production best practices, specifications, and standards worldwide. G7 is Idealliance’s set of global standards for achieving gray balance to obtain visual similarity across all print processes. The application of this method enables printers to reproduce a consistent visual appearance across all printing types and substrates. Hamillroad Appoints Alpha Clicheria As Partner in Brazil UK-based prepress company Hamillroad Software has appointed Alpha Clicheria, a flexographic plate-maker, to take its Bellissima DMS screening to market in Brazil. Brazil is the fifth-largest packaging market globally, and the demand for producing sustainable packaging is reportedly increasing in the region.
