The show’s new feature areas included Flexpack Asia, which displayed the latest flexible packaging technology. A series of packed live demonstrations at the Flexible Packaging Arena took place on the show floor each day of the show.Making its debut, and intro- duced barely three months ago at Labelexpo Europe 2019 in September, this area of the show enabled visi- tors to see two press lines in action showcasing flexi- ble pouch production. Similarly, the returning Smart Zone enjoyed a con- stant flow of visitors. Displayed products included next generation 3D holograms, nano-materials, ad- vanced decoration technology, special inks and RFID/ NFC labels. TRESU Creates Customer Care Business Unit Printing equipment and machine manufacturer TRESU has created a new business unit in order to pro- vide its customers with lifetime support and help cus- tomers drive down excess waste, cost and down time. TRESU Customer Care reportedly helps customers in- crease their overall equipment effectiveness (OEE),which impacts the costs of production and yields a lower cost to print.TRESU Customer Care has two primary goals:maxi- mizing uptime and driving down the cost to print. Among the features of the comprehensive program are a technical hotline for urgent assistance; sched- uled maintenance; spare part assistance and an online “webshop”with original spare parts and consumables, ready for daily shipments. Augmenting those provi- sions are programs of remote management,machinery upgrades and hands-on training at TRESU’s Training and Demo Center in Denmark.
