David has worked for VolkerFitzpatrick for 29 years, he has tendered and secured a variety of rail, civils, highways and remediation projects from initial enquiry to final submission including post tender negotiations in many forms of contract – traditional, lump sum, target cost, design and build and rail multi-discipline frameworks – (MAFA & MFF CP5) ranging in value from 100k to 500 million.
CAREER SUMMARY
David currently heads up the estimating department for the Rail Division of VolkerFitzpatrick.
Started with the company as a site engineer progressed to senior engineer, spent a period of time within the procurement department before moving into estimating. Over the years David has progressed from estimator to senior estimator to lead estimator and currently head of estimating for the rail division has a well developed and structured career progression for all staff levels.
