"Just communicating the truthfulness of every aspect of the project to get it completed." Thomas Robbins, Director of Business Development, echoes this sentiment. "We're a relationship-based contractor," he says. "We don't just open up an office and say, 'Let's go find work.' We follow our clients and the people that we like to work with. Now, what are your needs as an owner or developer? Where are you looking to grow?" This client-centric approach has led to strategic expansion, including the soft opening of a new office in North Carolina. "With our license, it allows us to chase work if the deal makes sense," Thomas explains. "If it's an area that we're licensed or that we feel like we can provide value, we can pursue projects where we see fit."

Quality Without Compromise

Robbins Construction takes quality control seriously, implementing multiple strategies to ensure excellence. "We approach that several different ways," Derek says. "One is we prequalify subcontractors. We have consistent meetings on the job site to review the work, and we want to correct stuff as we go along." The company also hires third-party consultants to identify potential issues like water intrusion before they become problems. "Our goal is to complete each project with the highest quality, so we minimize the need for any warranty-related callbacks."
