"I envisioned a company that wasn't limited to a single type of project," Derek explains. "The goal behind this approach was to create a recession- resistant business." Adding Value at Every Stage Robbins Construction aims to be more than just a contractor; they strive to be a value-added partner. "When we develop a budget or an estimate for a project, we approach it with a different set of lenses," Derek says. "We don't just consider it from a contractor's standpoint; we also view it from the client's perspective." This involves offering suggestions for alternative materials, cost-saving ideas, and methods to expedite project completion. "We just don't want to be a third party to the project," Derek asserts. "We aim to be an integral part of the team and provide a value, that we're a trusted partner." Thomas elaborates on this approach, stating, "As a contractor, our focus is on how we can genuinely add value for our clients and build strong relationships with them.
