The Laguna Plein Air Painters Association (LPAPA) is delighted to present its 19th Annual “ Best of Plein Air ” juried plein air art show, featuring works created e n plein air by LPAPA artists, at the LPAPA Gallery as well as a virtual exhibition through this online art catalog. LPAPA's Executive Director Rosemary Swimm reminds us, “paintings created for our “Best of Plein Air” art show, challenges the artists to bring forth their very best plein air painting skills encompassing composition, color and design, because they know they will be competing against the best of the best outdoor painters. The works eligible for this show were created in plein air, and the top award winning artist will be invited to participate in LPAPA’s 25th Annual Laguna Beach Plein Air Painting Invitational the week of October 7 - 15, 2023.” LPAPA Members are dedicated to supporting LPAPA’s Mission to keep Laguna’s century old plein air painting legacy and tradition going for future generations of outdoor painters!
