The 19th Annual “Best of Plein Air” juried art show will open online, in advance of the gallery opening, with this virtual art catalog that includes a preview auction. The online silent auction opens at 10:00 am PST on Monday, February 27th. The special preview auction pricing starts at 80% of the gallery price, providing art collectors with the opportunity to add a special plein air painting to their collection at a potential 20% savings, while supporting LPAPA and the Artists!
The LPAPA Gallery show will open at 11:00 am on Thursday, March 2nd, with extended gallery hours to 9:00 pm for the First Thursdays Art Walk opening reception. Gallery visitors will have the opportunity to participate in the online auction or receive auction updates at the gallery during the reception; the silent auction will end at 8:00 pm PST. The auction includes a Buy-Now option to encourage early buying with added support for nonprofit LPAPA and the artists before the gallery show opens. All artwork is sold framed. The artwork exhibited at the gallery, and included in the online virtual gallery Art Catalog, features all of the top scoring paintings as Finalists eligible for awards judging. In addition, the top scoring Semi-Finalists are also included in the online silent auction and in this virtual gallery Art Catalog. The LPAPA Gallery is located in Laguna Beach at 414 N. Coast Highway, between Jasmine and Myrtle Streets on Gallery Row. Gallery hours are Thursday through Monday, 11:00 am to 5:00 pm and by appointment, with extended hours to 9:00 pm the First Thursday of each month.
