GAFFNEYSTARTS WORKON DEVELOPMENTAT FORMERHOMEOF EX-TAOISEACH

Gaffney Mechanical has started work on a prestigious development on the site of the previous residence of former Taoiseach, Liam Cosgrave. The ‘Two Oaks’ residential scheme will comprise 590 apartments and duplexes, along with communal leisure facilities and retail, at Scholarstown Road, Knocklyon, Dublin. Works carried out by Gaffney will include exhaust air heat pumps, a centralised water storage plant room, and fire-rated ductwork. The firm said it was looking forward to working in partnership with main contractor Walls Construction Ltd and consulting engineers O’Connor Sutton Cronin on the scheme. The 480 build-to-rent units will comprise a mix of one and two-bedroom apartments, spanning over eight blocks and up to six storeys in height. The Grant EZ Fit flue guide series provides an in-depth look at the full range of Grant EZ-Fit flues, most commonly used with the Grant Vortex and Grant Euroflame ranges of condensing oil boilers. This Toolbox Talk series gives an insight into each of Grant’s Ez-Fit flue systems, which include the Yellow, Blue, Green, White, Orange, and Red flue, and advice on what to consider when installing each with a Grant Vortex or Euroflame boiler. In addition, one of the videos within the series also focuses on an extract from the building regulations that are relevant for flue installation in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. These are the standards that all oil boiler installations must adhere to.
