Race 1 Furphy Trophy 1000m Mach Ten
Passing the 100m shifted in & away from another rnr, resulting in rdr having to stop riding & correct his mnt. A short distance later, when giving ground, was steadied from heels. Rdr reported his mnt travelled keenly throughout the early & middle stages & when rounding the home turn changed strides on a number of occasions & was inclined to lay out. He added mnt was then disappointing in manner in which it finished its race off. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. Tnr rep subsequently reported the colt pulled up a bit sore across its back & advised it will now be freshened up. WYNG 14/12/2022 Slow to begin. Hampered near the 700m and became unbalanced when bumped. Rdr said mount was agitated in barriers was slow to begin and then disappointing. Post race vet exam revealed no abs. SANH11/02/2023

Tabata Set RR may not have been suited by today’s track conditions. BRAT 19/11/2022 Princess Duhallow Led and weakened quickly from the 100m. Rider reported her mount raced very keenly in the early stages and she had difficulty restraining the filly. FLEM 18/02/2023 Treasurway Commenced awkwardly and became unbalanced. Weakened from the 400m and was tailed off (48.5 L). A post race vet exam revealed cardiac arrhythmia & shall not start in any race until the Stewards have received a satisfactory vet report which includes results of an ECG performed at rest and cardiac auscultation performed within 30 minutes of completing a satisfactory gallop of at least 1000 metres SANH10/12/2022 COT: To settle further forward with the option to lead; settled on pace. M V 24/02/2023 Lofty Star Commenced awkwardly and lost ground. M V 03/02/2023 Race 3 CARM Trophy 1000m Kallos Began awkwardly. RHIL 26/11/2022 Easy Single When qst re performance, rdr std whilst mnt travelled comfortably in the early stages when placed under pressure on the home turn it did not appreciate the soft track conditions and near the 450m become unbalanced when it hit a soft section of the track and from this point did not close the race off. A post-race vet exam revealed no abs. RHIL 27/08/2022 Mamaragan Disappointed for clear running near the 100m. M V 17/02/2023 Duchess Of Dorset Failed to run on in the straight. Rider reported the mare would be better suited over 1000m. CAUL 25/06/2022 Tycoon Humma Improved performance. Trainer John McArdle explained the mare had raced without luck last preparation, returned well from a recent spell and was suited by the drop back in class. SANH04/02/2023
