“It’s even more important now—we have got to tell people there are safer alternatives,” she says. “People are stuck! They need something to do with their time. And so why not? Why not contact people and teach them about this and then offer to help them teach other people so they can have a hope for income?” In the last two months, Jane and Jim have seen more than 200 new customers come into their organization. Now Executive Directors 4, they help others experience the power of exceptional products and a Melaleuca business. The reward has been sweet. “In 2010, my brother who suffers from cancer and dementia moved in with us,” Jane says. “We tore my husband’s garage down to build a place for him. As a result, for the last 10 years Jim has jerry-rigged his way around a lack of space by building a small workshop in the backyard. “Some people have tiny homes,” he joked. “I have a tiny garage!” “The check from this advancement,” Jane explains, “is going to build my husband the garage he’s been without since 2010.” They are thankful to their team for their hard work. It is giving so many families a new hope for another stream of income during trying times. In April, Jane enrolled a beauty shop owner who can no longer work. She is now one of five Pacesetter Directors in Jane and Jim’s organization. “Those people’s lives are changing,” Jane says. “They’re just beginning to see what this is.”
If anyone believes Melaleuca products save and change lives, Jane and Jim Cyrus do. In 2003, Jane, in her late 40s, began to be more concerned and conscientious about her health and nutrition. When Jane and her husband, Jim, discovered Melaleuca supplements, he told her, “This is like the missing piece to the puzzle. I feel healthier than I did when I was 47. At 21, I knew that if I did not take charge of my health, I would not be able to do the things I wanted to do when I was 60. I decided to focus on my nutrition and have been vigilant for years. I am glad I did. Five years ago, Jane accidentally drank half a cup of bleach from a water cooler in a beauty shop. She’s had breathing issues ever since. “After I taught people for 12 years to get rid of bleach, I was the one who drank it,” she reflected.
“I’m the kind of person who can’t not help somebody by buying something that really helps them,” says Jane. “When Melaleuca came along, it was just natural to share it.”
