EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS 2 ADVANCEMENTS NEW

Kelly & Christopher Piascik SOUTH CAROLINA A Reason to Jump Out of Bed Every Morning

Having Chris home more is only part of Kelly’s why . A lot of Kelly’s team is from her hometown, where a lot of the work comes from coal mines and different plants and factories. “They’re just getting drenched with chemicals from the coal mines and all the different plants,” Kelly explains. “So making their environment safer at least in their home is important as well as helping them earn income. It’s been incredible!” Kelly has found great rewards in helping others who need Melaleuca. One example is new Director 3 Irina Wilkinson. Irina has cancer and has been too sick to do much recently with her Melaleuca business. But thanks in part to extra help from Kelly and her team, Irina was still able to advance to Director 3 and benefit from the residual income. Another example is Kelly’s friend Director Glenda Deaton, who is now taking the Peak Performance Pack . “She’s full of life!” Kelly says. “She said she got her life back.” There are three important things that Kelly tells new business builders to remember. First, they need to believe in themselves— have a good mindset and don’t look for excuses. Second, believe in Melaleuca—see the value in the shopping experience and be a fan of the products. “And then the third one,” Kelly says, “would be consistency, just not giving up.”

Prior to Melaleuca, Kelly Piascik pursued her desire to be a stay-at-home mom and spent two and a half years in an MLM business. While she enjoyed the marketing side of it and the idea of people working for themselves, she also felt like the business “didn’t want us to make money.” Kelly discovered Melaleuca when she connected with National Director 9 Kimberly McCauley. Kelly was immediately impressed with the products and has strong feelings about using natural ingredients. It was easy to want to share. “Referring was completely natural to me,” Kelly says. “I found a reason to jump out of bed every morning. I’m passionate about this. It’s not about making money. I want to put Clorox® out of business. I want to put Johnson & Johnson® out of business.” Kelly’s husband, Chris, has had to work up to 100 hours a week in the past to help provide for the family. Kelly’s Melaleuca business means that Chris is able to be home more now. “For the first two years of our daughter’s life, she didn’t really know him because he was never here. This is so great! I feel better with him home because he’s just really good; he’s always teaching the kids something.”

Chris just had his last day at his old job about the same time that Kelly found out about her big advancement. The role reversal has been going well as they transition to Chris doing more of the cooking and taking care of the kids—both things he’s really good at.
