Kristin Roberts MICHIGAN It’s Just a Store

Over the next couple of weeks, Kristin heard that some of her other friends were enrolling with Melaleuca, and the idea got stuck in her head. But she still wasn’t sure it was for her. One day, she was talking to Executive Director 4 Marlo Payne. “Marlo told me that it’s simply switching stores,” Kristin explains. “She said, ‘If you think Melaleuca is network marketing, just wipe it out of your brain because it’s something completely different.’” Marlo continued to explain that the cleaning products worked amazingly well and didn’t even need child-proof caps. In an effort to test Marlo’s words, Kristin decided to find out more. “The first thing I tried,” she says, “was an Access® Bar . That was about two weeks before I enrolled, and it was the best-tasting healthy snack I’d ever had. I was all in as a Preferred Member at that point.” Kristin ordered some Mountain Cabin® Coffee , EcoSense® cleaning products, and Renew® Lotion and fell in love with everything. Then Kristin remembered hearing that Marlo had received an impressive check as a result of her referral business-building efforts. “I asked her, ‘How could you possibly make that much at a store?’” Kristin says. “That doesn’t make sense. All she said was, ‘I simply enrolled a few friends.’” That, along with Alan’s encouragement and guidance was all Kristin needed. “It was a green light for me,” she explains. “I thought, ‘Okay, I can do this.’” Now, two and a half years later, Kristin is sharing Melaleuca with everyone she meets. “I dare you to keep your mouth shut,” she says. “It’s hard to keep something really good to yourself. And besides, there’s no fear here, no risk. It’s just a store—with the most amazing wellness products around.” Kristin’s message rings true to a lot of people, which is one of the many reasons she has such a bright future.

Every Marketing Executive has a good story about sharing Melaleuca. Some stories involve life-changing yeses , others, laughter-worthy noes . And some include a person saying just the right thing at the right time. Executive Director Kristin Robert’s story has a little of everything and is further proof that all roads lead to Melaleuca. Kristin had been involved in network marketing for several years. Multiple Melaleuca Marketing Executives had approached her about leaving multilevel marketing altogether and building a sustainable Melaleuca referral business, but each time, Kristin was adamant in her rejection. “One day, I was with Executive Director 3 Buddy Rivera,” she explains. “He was talking on the phone to National Director Alan Guzzino about enrolling, and I was literally on the couch trying to be mad. I thought, ‘I’m not listening. Get it off speaker because you’re trying to set me up here!’ I even remember putting a pillow around my ears so I couldn’t hear them.” Buddy listened to Alan and was interested. “He said, ‘But I’m not doing this without Kristin,’” she explains. “And I thought, ‘Well I’m not doing it, so it looks like you’re not either.’” That was July of 2017.

“Keep it natural,” Kristin encourages new enrollees. “When you share the things you love, people will take your word for it. That’s because the genuine referral of a friend is the most powerful kind of marketing there is.”
