CWGO CAREER WOMEN’S GOLF ORGANIZATION

With the longer days of May, CWGO launches weeknight evening play at 6 PM on Wednesdays at ARL and 4:30 PM on Thursdays at FFX. Wednesday play kicks off with the Wild Wednesday Scramble on 2 May at Arlington, with a 6 PM shotgun shot and optional dinner afterward. You do not need to have a handicap to play in this event or in any regular play day. Click here to sign-up. New and prospective members are welcome! Also in May, CWGO holds one of its signature special events – the Charity Scramble – which will be held at 12 May at Fairfax. Proceeds of this event fund CWGO’s dedicated charity, which is to provide care bags of small gifts to women undergoing cancer treatment at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. This is an A-B-C-D scramble where the pro staff puts together teams to help ensure equity across the field. Register online here . CWGO welcomes news members! Interested? Contact Tina Gwilliam, Membership Chair ( CWGO.membership@gmail.com ) for more information. We kicked off our season with our annual Spring Membership meeting and luncheon. Luncheon Chair, Char Foley, can now enjoy the meal with other members, including new member Kathleen Nilles. WGO-18 WOMEN’S 18-HOLE GOLF ORGANIZATION

In spite of another cold day, WGO-18’s ARFAX players did well in the league’s mixed teams Ice Breaker event at Chantilly, click here for complete results.
