ARCHERY BEGINNER LESSONS Cost: $56.25 resident / $70.30 non - resident Age: 8 - 18 years Location: Stella Roberts Recycling Center

Our Archery Beginner Lessons are a fun, perfect fit for youth participants of any ability wanting to get involved in the sport of target archery. If you are new to the sport of archery or a beginner archer looking for an introductory program to sign up for, our beginner lessons will teach you the skills you need to get started. In the 5-week course, you will learn fundamental skills such as range safety and proper shooting form as well as play exciting games. All of our beginner archers must demonstrate a fundamental understanding of the 5 components of Archery before advancing to our JOAD program. 6890, Wed., June 7 - July 5, 6 - 7 p.m. 6891, Wed., July 19 - Aug. 16, 6 - 7 p.m. JUNIOR OLYMPIC ARCHERY Cost: $68.75 resident / $85.93 non - resident $123.75 resident / $153.69 non - resident Age: 8 - 18 years Location: Stella Roberts Recycling Center Our Junior Olympic Archery Development (JOAD) Program is intended for those archers, ages 8 to 18, who have a desire to learn and compete in the sport of archery. JOAD archers can train to compete in local and regional tournaments and can earn a seat on a youth world team to compete in other countries. All interested JOAD archers must successfully complete our Archery Beginner Program to be eligible. A USA Archery Recreational Membership is required in order to participate in the JOAD program. Cost: $52.40 resident / $65.50 non - resident Age: 8 - 12 years Location: WEC Living in a city doesn’t mean there isn’t wildlife all around you. Each week, students will explore a different animal that they might see in their own backyard or local park. From birds to bats, turtles to snakes, and deer to opossums, we will learn cool and interesting facts about these urban dwellers. Lessons will also include fun activities like coloring, arts and crafts, puzzles, games and more. 6888, Thur., June 8 - July 6, 11 a.m.- 12 p.m. 6889, Thur., July 20 - Aug. 17, 11 a.m.- 12 p.m.
