This class is about turning new and imaginative ideas into reality. By using visual and auditory skills through project- based expression, your child will reach all their creative inner abilities. By using various materials, your child will put together artwork, comic strips, scrapbooks and even fun fashion creations. But that’s not all. Little authors will be in our mist. This class inspires higher order thinking by learning how fun writing can be. Students will be able to show their unique expression through their writing. Writing will be done with voice in all genres and by the end of the week, your little author will be thrilled to show case all of his/her distinct and individual expressions. Endless tracks and obstacle courses await every Hot Wheel’s car lover as they discover the world of physical science. Look no further for a world of excitement, creativity and science exploration. This class is designed to inspire creations of things past, present and future. Your child will explore dinosaur adventures, prehistoric volcanoes, animals, food, transportation and our solar system. Artistic and social development will engage daily creations in a very moldable way. A minimum of 6 participants must register 7 days prior to class start date. 6954, Mon. - Fri., July 31 - Aug. 4, 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. CREATIVE WORDS: WRITING AND PUBLIC SPEAKING Cost: $120 resident / $150 non - resident Age: Group 1 6-9 years Group 2 10-13 years Location: WEC Students will learn to develop their original voice and gain the confidence to share their writing as authors in a supportive environment. Through interactive lessons we will explore story arc, sensory details, character development and more.
