S cholarships

The Atomic Credit Union Scholarship Program was established to recognize and assist our high school student members who have a desire to further their education. Scholarships in the amount of $500.00 are awarded and disbursed among our participating Student-Run high schools, as well as two additional $500.00 scholarships to our membership at large. In 2023, Atomic provided $25,000 in scholarship money to 50 students in Southeastern Ohio!

Application Process The scholarship application period begins in October each year, and the deadline to apply is March 31st of the following year. The completed scholarship application, an official copy of the student’s high school transcript with ACT results and class rank, along with a handwritten essay per the application instructions, are to be submitted by the deadline in order to qualify. The completed packet can be hand delivered to a local branch, or sent via email to the email address outlined on the scholarship application.

Eligibility Requirements • The student/applicant must be an Atomic Credit Union member • Must be a current graduating senior of a high school or technical school • Minimum 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale • Plan to enroll, or be currently enrolled, in an accredited school of higher education, such as a college, university, business, or technical school as a full-time student

During the scholarship period, applications can be found online by visiting www.atomiccu.com or at any local branch.
