Proaudio Sound Press: TradeMarc, you have an impressive and diverse set of talents, from being a DJ to a sound engineer, music producer, multimedia designer, and even a golfer. How do these different passions and skills intersect in your life and creative work? TradeMarc: Thank you for the compliment! I find that every aspect of my involvement complements and influences the next seamlessly. DJing gives me valuable insights into audience preferences, shaping my approach to music production. The precision of sound engineering also leaves its mark on my music production, and my time at the gym or on the golf course enhances my discipline and strategic thinking, providing a balanced perspective across all my pursuits. I would say to anybody that the synergy between all elements in your life is crucial in maintaining a cohesive and impactful lifestyle. Proaudio Sound Press: As a qualified Sound Engineer specializing in Audio Post Production, could you share some insights into your educational journey and how it has shaped your music production and DJing career? TradeMarc: I began my journey as a DJ and music producer a few years before pursuing sound engineering studies in 2012. The knowledge, technical skills, and practical experience I garnered during that time played a crucial role in shaping me into the DJ and music producer I am today.
Keeping myself up to date with the latest industry advancements, trends, and technology has always helped me keep my productions and DJ performances at the forefront. Proaudio Sound Press:You recently completed a BSc Degree in Sound Engineering Technology at the Academy of Sound Engineering. What motivated you to further your studies in this field, and how do you see it benefiting your career? TradeMarc: Returning to ASE and completing the Bachelor of Science degree was driven by a desire to deepen my understanding of the field and elevate my skills to a higher level. The BSc program enhanced my technical skills and broadened my creative opportunities in engineering, music production, and DJing. I view the completion of this degree as a solid foundation for continued career growth. I believe that it enhances my credibility, hopefully opening doors to opportunities that demand advanced expertise.
