What unique qualities and or personality do you feel makes you most suc- cessful in your profession? Patience. Not many people in today’s world have the requisite patience needed in the Real Estate business. In today’s world everything is instant gratification. What was the most defin - ing moment for you? and helpful to each person and how to create mutually beneficial relationships that advance everyone involved. Tell us how and when you began your career in the profession you are in, about your current posi- tion and why you choose the field/profession you are in today? I began my career as an Administrative Assistant for a Fire Protection Engineer - ing firm when I was a single mom, was asked to transition to Marketing/Proposals which slowly transitioned into some Business Development activi - ties. Today, those same would-be partners are now calling to get involved in our next multifamily project. Who do you feel was most influential in your life when choosing this profession? My grandfather, Wilbur Bre - slin. Seeing his legacy and all the work he has done sets the standard for me to strive for. What outside activities do you enjoy during you free time? What were some of your early goals and did anything happen to change them? Early in my career, I focused on my title. I wanted to be “Manager” and then I wanted to be “Director”. I thought that these titles would give me the credibility I needed in the in - dustry to appear more profes - sional or more qualified at my job. My goals have changed as I realized that being qualified and having that “big” title have little to no correspondence. What unique qualities and or personality trait do you feel makes you most success- ful in your profession? I believe that being empa - thetic combined with being a motivated self-starter has al - lowed me to understand, be an active listener and connect the dots in order to build meaning - ful and long-term relationships that create fruitful business partnerships.
