Learning SESSIONS Our learning sessions are designed to build essential skills in leadership, teamwork, and diversity & inclusion. Each session has been developed to provide learners with a fundamental understanding of the techniques and concepts related to that particular topic. To enhance learning, we incorporate lively discussion, customized mini- cases, and hands-on experiential activities.

Navigating the Waters of Change Leading others through change requires strong communication skills and a clear vision of the future. To reduce resistance and increase receptiveness, leaders need to understand the human side of change. Learn ways to guide others through the change process and create a culture of “change readiness” within the team. Personal Accountability Starts with Me At every level within the organization, projects begin, tasks are assigned, goals are set, and deadlines are met...or missed. This learning session provides a simple model for understanding what it means to be accountable to ourselves and others and the actions we must take when we default to below-the-line behavior. Presentations that Pop: PowerPoint Tips and Tricks Messages can be lost simply due to poor design choices. In this interactive class, participants will learn and practice how to create a dynamic and engaging PowerPoint presentation with visually appealing slides that follow universal design principles. Learn how to structure your presentation to maximize impact and how to engage your audience using PowerPoint and other techniques. The class will conclude with participants delivering a mini presentation using PowerPoint. Problem Solving for Effective Decision Making Identifying problems. Evaluating options. Making tough decisions. Many leaders are expected to solve problems and make tough calls every day. However, they may not have had the opportunity to develop the necessary skills to do them well. Equip yourself with tools to logically address problems and evaluate viable solutions and discover your decision-making style. Problem Solving Step by Step Rapid advances in technology have dramatically changed the way we work. Despite having these tools, employers still need employees who demonstrate strong problem-solving. Learn how to use the IDEAL Method to objectively assess situations, consider apparent, creative, or unusual solutions and make sound decisions.
