Cultivating Diversity, Equity & Inclusion in the Workplace For many organizations, the work of building a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace can be challenging. It takes courage and commitment, and a willingness to engage in meaningful conversations with others who may have very different beliefs, perceptions, and experiences. This series is designed to provide a framework for understanding DEI to cultivate a culture of awareness, belonging, and engagement in the workplace, and how to create a more positive environment for all employees.
The Link Between, EQ, Diversity and Inclusion Emotional intelligence (EQ) is at the heart of cultivating a diverse and inclusive organization. Participants will discover how EQ skills such as self- awareness, empathy, adaptability, and mindfulness can build a workplace culture of diversity and inclusion. Building a Culture of Equity and Inclusion The Inclusive Leader class is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and mindset to foster inclusivity in their leadership roles. Participants will learn strategies to cultivate diverse perspectives, create inclusive environments, and leverage the strengths of all team members. By embracing inclusivity, leaders will not only enhance team dynamics but also drive innovation and organizational success.

Rewriting the Script on Diversity and Inclusion Increasing self-awareness is the first step in developing a baseline of knowledge about diversity and inclusion. Participants will engage in the process of self-discovery and learn how to step outside of their “bubble of sameness”. Unpacking Unconscious Bias Unconscious bias is a quick and often inaccurate judgment of others based on limited facts and personal experiences. In the workplace, these biases can adversely impact recruiting, selection, promotion, and retention. Left unchecked, these biases can erode the organizational culture.
