that uplifts neighborhoods and enhances public spaces. Polemarch Robertson thanked the mayor and affirmed the chapter’s continued dedication to purposeful service. On August 5, 2025, the chapter participated in National Night Out at Waterfront Park, a nationwide initiative that fosters trust between residents and law enforcement. Wayman White (Epsilon Alpha 1992) designed and built all of the games offered by the chapter, creating a welcoming environment for families and children who visited the fraternity’s activity area. Brothers White, Colbert Respass, Kovic Brown, Teron Reid, Christopher Gilliam, James E. Robertson Jr., and Zedric McKennon represented the chapter. Their participation strengthened the relationship between the fraternity and the broader community. In keeping with its mission to prepare young men for leadership and personal growth, the Elizabeth City (NC) Alumni Chapter hosted the Kappa League E-Sports Competition on March 14, 2025, at Elizabeth City State University

(ECSU). The event was part of Phase III of the Kappa League curriculum, provided a dynamic and modern platform for youth development. Nine Kappa Leaguers competed in titles such as NBA 2K, Madden

NFL, and Fortnite within one of ECSU’s advanced gaming facilities. Five members of the alumni chapter attended to guide the young men, reinforce discipline, and promote sportsmanship.

More than a recreational gathering, the event introduced participants to a collegiate setting and familiarized them with the academic resources available at ECSU. Brother Zedric McKennon, who
