4.1

Substantial experience of working in a relevant environment, demonstrating technical and practical problem solving. Experience of the management, development and delivery of responsive, planned and cyclical maintenance provision that meets, and is in line with the requirements of the service. Experience of planning and optimising the use of internal/external resources to develop and deliver value for money services. Experience of managing risk assessments, method statements and safe systems of work and knowledge of safe working practice in line with current health and safety legislation. Experience of financial management, planning and analysis, including procurement and short/long- term expenditure and investment forecasts. Experience of undertaking option appraisals and whole life costing and using the information to establish cost effective procurement options and best use of resources. Experience in delivering solutions designed to meet carbon reduction targets. Evidence of a commitment to Equal Opportunities. Commitment to providing a high standard of customer service. Willing to engage in updating and training activities and apply further learning to work.
