Our Stategic Vision and Purpose ENG

OUR ENABLING PRIORITIES

1. We will ensure that robust, diverse and inclusive governance underpins the review we plan of our council, senate and the sub-committees for both 2. We will restructure our University to make it fit for purpose for our second century, amalgamating our seven colleges into three faculties to enable greater cross-disciplinary collaboration, improved strategic leadership, enhanced financial sustainability and more effective service delivery 3. We will plan responsibly to ensure that we are financially resilient and able to invest in the foundations that will support our core activities 4. As part of our commitment to contribute towards net-zero carbon, and to mark our centenary, we will plant 100 Welsh oaks in our region, and 1,000,000 sea-grass seeds off the Welsh coast. 5. We will improve communications across our community so that our colleagues, students and partners receive the same, consistent message

6. We will celebrate the many positive contributions our colleagues and students make locally, demonstrating the valuable impacts they make 7. We will raise funds from a variety of sources to restore Fulton House to its former glory, with the student experience at its heart 8. We will expand and enhance our digital infrastructure and experiences that support our academic mission 9. We will increase our diversity of representation on committees and leadership teams, ensuring the visibility of under- represented groups. 10. We will systematically embed equality and inclusion within our processes and governance and will continue to engage with under-represented communities to understand and raise awareness of their individual needs.
