Entrepreneur Penny Klinedinst started Simply Perfect over 20 years ago in downtown Sioux Falls with a vision and passion for design and creativity. Over time that vision has continued to grow, creating a business centered around helping people find inspiration and bring beauty into their homes. Simply Perfect has become a place where thoughtful details come together. From the beginning, the goal has been about more than decorating a space—it has been about helping people curate homes that reflect their personalities and the way they want to live. “One of the most exciting things about Simply Perfect is there is always something new to discover,” said Klinedinst. “Sometimes it’s a statement piece for your home, and other times it’s one small detail that unexpectedly becomes your favorite part of a space.”
Fall is all about layers, and that follows suit in the home décor world. The Simply Perfect team gets excited about pieces that help make a home feel layered and personal, whether it’s seasonal décor, beautiful tabletop pieces, cozy throws, candles, books, and meaningful gifts. “We love helping people find those layers,” said Klinedinst. “You don’t have to change everything in your home for a new season. Sometimes adding one beautiful throw, a candle, a new piece of décor, or a few thoughtful elements is enough to refresh a space.” The goal of the interior design and gift boutique is not to make a home look overly decorated, but to make it feel like a place where people want to spend time. As the weather cools off, autumn tends to be when people start to spend more time indoors.
