A Fresh Look LIV MED SPA’S TRANSFORMATION
Clients at a local medical spa aren’t the only ones getting a refresh. Liv Med Spa of Sioux Falls recently reopened on September 8 at their brand new building and location at 3800 East Vendavel Street. Owner, founder, and nurse practitioner Kasandra Wheeler started the boutique spa in 2023 in a small salon suite. “When I started my business, I was working full time as a nurse practitioner and was expecting my fourth baby,” recalled Wheeler. “I had no time to prioritize my own health and wellness, and felt the strain it was taking on my mental health.”
Wheeler suddenly realized she could go off on her own as an entrepreneur, practicing independently as a nurse practitioner and offering services that aligned with her goals of helping men and women invest in their health and wellness and feel confident and supported at every stage of life. Over the last four years, she has expanded from a team of one to two nurse practitioners, three registered nurses, one esthetician, and an office coordinator. With that continued growth, the business has been able to build the new free- standing location.
