(NC) Alumni Chapter (1975-1977), Vice Polemarch, Keeper of Records and Exchequer, member of the Board of Directors, and Reclamation Chairman. Brother Gadsden was a Life Member of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . Brother Gadsden was named Charlotte (NC) Alumni Chapter Man of the Year in 1984 and Senior Brother of the Year in 2015. He was also a member of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity, a professional association of education leaders. Brother Gadsden is survived by his sons, Frank E. Gadsden, III and Barry I. Gadsden; a beloved sister, Minnie G. Maxwell; three grandchildren; Cierra, Barry Jr. (Epsilon Kappa 2017), and Trey Gadsden; a loyal fiancée, Sandra Payne; and extended family and friends. Dr. James Edward “Jay” Gray III (Baton Rouge (LA) Alumni) entered the Chap- ter Invisible on October 30, 2019 at the age of 35. He was born December 13, 1983 to James Edward Gray, Jr. and Vanessa (née Lloyd) Gray, in Jackson, MS. He was educated in the Jackson (MS) Public School System. Gradu- ating in the top 10 of his class, from Jackson’s Murrah High School in 2002 where he was inducted into the National Honor Society and "Who's Who Among American High School Students. While in high school he served as a page in the Mississippi House of Representatives for Rep. Alyce Griffin Clarke. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from the University of Mississippi. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree from The University of Southern Mississippi in 2009. In 2011 he was awarded his post-baccalaureate degree in Pre-Medical Studies from Sage College of Albany, NY. After working as a nurse in Albany, NY, Gray returned to his native Mississippi and attended the University of Mississippi where he earned his Doctor of Medicine Degree specializing in Family Medi- cine, in 2016. Greene, Jr. is preceded in death by his sister Jackie Greene and his brothers: Keith Greene and David Greene. He is survived by his 7 chil- dren: Nadia Dorman (Carlos) Williams, Shawn (Sherise) Dorman Sr., Monica Webster (Gene) Culver, Kim Webster, Gabrielle Jeri-Greene, Damian (Brooke) Jeri-Greene, and Dorian Jeri Greene; sis- ters Donna Greene, Carlie Fry, Deborah (Marcus) and Antoinette Brown; brother Hiram T. Brown, Jr.; 22 Grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Samuel T. Jackson 1946-2019 Attorney Samuel T. Jack- son (Epsilon Pi 1968) entered the Chapter Invis- ible on Saturday, at The University of Texas in Austin, TX. Samuel Trent Jackson was born in Amarillo, TX on November 1, 1946 to S.T. and Nancy Jackson. He attended Amarillo public schools and graduated from Carver Senior High School in 1964 as Valedictorian of his class. He was the starting corner-back for the 1963 – 1964 Carver Dragons football team. Jackson attended Amarillo College and West Tex- as State University located in Canyon, TX, where he received his bachelor’s degree. Jackson joined the fraternity as a charter line member of the West Texas State University Chapter, the Epsilon Pi of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . After obtaining his undergraduate degree, he pursued a career in law, receiving a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Tech Univer- sity School of Law in 1978, where he was also included in their prestigious law review. After law school, Jackson worked as a legal aid attorney for West Texas Legal Services in Amarillo, and after two years November 2, 2019 surrounded by his children and fam- ily at Dell Seton Medical Center

his intern residency with Georgetown University-Providence Hospital in Wash- ington D.C. He completed his residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in July 2019. Brother James E. Gray III is preceded in death by grandparents, James Edward Gray, Sr., Jack & Martha Lloyd. He is survived by his parents, James Edward Gray, Jr. and Vanessa Lloyd-Gray; brother, Jayland Gray; and a host of close relatives, friends and colleagues. Carl H. Greene, Jr. 1945–2019 Communications Executive, U.S. Navy

Carl H. Greene, Jr. entered the Chapter Invis- ible on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at the Lorien Nursing and Reha- bilitation Center, Columbia, MD at

the age of 74. He was born in Darby, PA on January 2, 1945, the son of the late Carl H. Greene, Sr. and Doris Robinson Brown and Hiram T. Brown, Sr. Greene was a graduate Darby-Colwyn Junior/ Senior High School, Class of 1963. He attended Indiana Institute of Technology in Fort Wayne, IN, prior to transferring to historic Lincoln (PA) University in 1967 where he majored in English. He joined the fraternity as a 1966 initiate of the Lincoln (PA) University Chapter, the Epsilon of Kappa Alpha Psi ® . Greene also served in the United States Navy where he was honorably discharged. Greene was exceptionally talented and a creative aeronautical communications executive, he formerly served as Presi- dent/CEO of West Virginia Re-Refining, Ltd., and Conversion Dynamics of Washington, D.C., the Director of Ac- count Services for The Creative Con- nection in Washington DC, President of C.H. Greene & Associates of Wash- ington, DC., and President and Creative Director of Greene, Gladmon & Associ- ates of Washington, DC. He was an accomplished artist and a collection of
