Chimera Anchor System The Chimera Anchor system can be installed at the roof peak onto two separate joists or rafters up to 16 inches apart. The system allows for going over the ridge and be attached to both roof pitch sides. This configuration allows for maximum traversing of either side of the roof when attached to the anchor ring. As well as using to chimera anchor systems on either side of the ridge to allow for attaching a horizontal support line system. For steep slope roof systems which can be penetrated into with the provided anchor fasteners, the Chimera metal anchor bases must be flush to the roof material. Ensuring that the fasteners are screwed directly into the center of the wooden structural roof joists or rafters.
