Chain Cross-Reference Step 1: Determine saw chain type

Gold ID Link If the chain you are replacing is an Oregon product, there may be a Gold ID Link indicating the replacement part number.

The cutter and/or drive link stamp on your current chain will determine the Oregon chain type. See fig. 1 to identify chain parts.
