DT! Workshops re-start
MAKE TOGETHER On Wednesday 30th March, Year 2 had a parent Design and Technology workshop. After Christmas, the children received a letter from an Australian puppet company asking them to design and make some new puppet animals for them. The children have worked hard in Spring term to evaluate, design, make and evaluate. Within the parent workshop, they used their designs and their mock- ups to work alongside their parents and carers to complete the sewing of the puppet, using running stitch and then add additional features onto their puppet by sewing or using fabric glue. A lot of great fun was had by all of the children and their parents.
