DT 2 ! Workshops re-start
MAKE TOGETHER As part of our Disney topic, the Year 1 crew were set the challenge of designing and making a moving carriage. In class, the children had already investigated how to make a moving mechanism, designed how they would like their carriage to look and created templates. Our Inspire session proved to be a great finale to this unit of work. A huge well done to the children and their parents and carers who displayed great teamwork, creativity and problem-solving skills. The session certainly brought all of the children’s previous learning together and their designs well and truly came to life! Well done all! ‘It was fantastic being able to come in and do an activity with my son. We both had a wonderful, creative time.’ ‘A really lovely activity to complete with my daughter. It was nice to see how she had developed her design and to have the chance to work with her on it. Great idea!’
