Told you it was busy! Year 2 still working hard

DAY TRIP Whilst some of the Year 2 children were at Frank Chapman, the others did lots of fun activities. We had lots of fun making a foaming lemon volcano and a rainbow bubble snake. We made Florence Nightingale style lamps and created a healthy food plate. Everyone also enjoyed a forest school session with Mr Pogson. We made clay tree cookies and got to have lots of fun in the outdoor environment. We also got to visit Frank Chapman for the day on Friday, which was amazing! We did bushcraft, where we made our own dens and learnt how to light a fire using flint and steel. We even squashed ourselves into a mine and covered up our eyes and did a trail through the woods! Thanks to Miss Stocking for the story. [Ed - Thank you to all my staff who gave up time with their families at home to give the children a great experience away]
