Equipping and Operational Commissioning • Co-ordinate the procurement process for specialist and non-specialist capital equipment within the capital project. • Prepare and manage the operational Commissioning Programme to ensure the smooth occupation of the newly developed space. Post Project Evaluation • To lead on and co-ordinate the post project evaluation process. • Ensure the new facilities are commissioned correctly and that planned benefits are realised through post project evaluation. • Manage the process to successfully close the project as complete. Service Development and Review • Reviewing, monitoring and steering development of the Programme in accordance with the Programme Brief • Ensuring the development proposals are directly aligned with the Trusts Strategy and Integrated Business Plan.

in the design and development of the Programme to achieve momentum and sign-up. • Ensuring that appropriate stakeholder management and communications plans are developed and implemented to ensure on- going ‘buy in’ and participation. • Forging professional and influential relationships with stakeholders • Managing political/motivating interests of stakeholders sensitively, with confidence and authority • Promoting and protecting the commercial interests of the Trust in all communications and negotiations • Providing highly complex information and analysis of the programme status to interested parties in a clear and effective way as and when required • Coordinating activity with associated engagement and consultation work-streams led by clinical services in conjunction with commissioners, clinical networks etc. • Planning and leading stakeholder events for

the purposes of appraising potential development options and engaging with local communities

Management of Resources and Performance

• Providing direction and leadership to your designated team and the team assigned to the project Programme including the management of appraisals, objective setting and delivery • Identifying and building resources within the team at any given stage in the programme which is critical to delivery Communication • Communicates in a professional manner a number of multi- stranded project activities covering design, financial, contractual and commercial information to Trust Board, senior managers, consultants, contractors etc. • Ensure that good communications is maintained with clinicians, Executive Directors, NHSI and other interested parties as part of the project process. • Maintain excellent verbal and written communication and excellent IT (MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint). • Carry out verbal and written presentations of topics using PowerPoint presentations skills. • Working across a large group of internal and external stakeholders

Training and Development • Undertaking statutory and mandatory training as required by Trust Policy Performance Appraisal and Development Review process annually • Maintaining own continuing professional development • Committing to and participating in the
