Community with Heart

The driving force behind our compassionate care is that patient focus includes a commitment to caring for family and all those in the community who are grieving.

Proudly caring for those who have served our nation Veterans often carry experiences that present unique challenges at the end of life. Our staff is trained to better assist Veterans and understand their challenges. As a Level 4 partner in We Honor Veterans , a national initiative by the Veterans Administration and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization, we had the distinct honor of conducting pinning ceremonies and providing hospice for 575 Veterans .

Our care extends beyond our patients to include their family and friends, too. Community-centered grief support is open to everyone regardless of patient affiliation or how their loved one died. Those who are grieving find solace and hope in an environment where they can speak freely and without judgment. Counseling and peer support groups are available for all ages. Last year, our counseling services touched the lives of 6,117 people . No one should ever have to grieve alone
