DEI Highlights

PLZ Corp had an active and productive year of initiatives to cultivate a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce. This year’s highlights include: • Established our DEI committee with the goals of removing barriers of discrimination and intolerance in the workplace, promoting awareness around DEI issues and opportunities, and offering guidance and support to leadership • Incorporated unconscious bias training into PLZ University, which houses our online training • Conducted an employee DEI survey, which addressed various topics including demographics, company attitudes toward DEI, and areas of improvement for PLZ Corp related to DEI • Delivered 25 e-pamphlets in 2021 with topics including cultural celebrations, LGBTQIA+, Black History Month, and many more • Continued a multi-year program, “Women in Manufacturing (WiM),” which targets high-performing women in the organization and provides them with internal and external training and mentoring programs

FORWARD-LOOKING GOALS

PLZ Corp will seek to further foster a diverse, equitable, and inclusive workforce by:

• Expanding DEI training among employees and leadership

• Increasing diversity at all levels across the organization

• Increasing professional development and internal promotion for diverse employees
