Richard Owen, CEO, keeps Satmetrix on track and on target, overseeing all aspects of current and future strategy. He co-authored Answering the Ultimate Question, the book that transformed Net Promoter from a score to a comprehensive methodology. He came from Nasdaq-listed mobile software company AvantGo, Inc., where he was chairman and CEO, and which was sold to Sybase, Inc. Before that, he held a variety of VP and general manager positions at Dell Computer Corporation, where he led their global ecom- merce and online marketing teams. He got his start as a consultant at KPMG, and holds a bachelor’s degree from Nottingham Univer- sity in England and a master’s degree from MIT Sloan School of Management.

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Justin is responsible for ScaleArc’s day-to-day operations and leading the company’s go-to- market strategy. Justin also served as ScaleArc’s President and COO from Dec 2011 to Sept 2013. Prior to ScaleArc, Justin was vice president of sales for software in the Americas at Juniper Networks, where he joined via the acquisition of Ankeena. He served as vice president of sales at Citrix Systems and as director of sales at NetScaler. He received an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and an undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Justin also served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves from 1992-1998.
