Ryan Primus, Toby Beresford, Bruno Vaughan, Sam Dickie and Oli Aikawa, all doing their bit to make it a great night. Congratulations to Dominic Edmond on his Best Director award. Other competitions and events Corfe House dominated in many of the House competitions in 2020. With Josh Book and his younger brother Nick in the House, we took out both the senior and junior basketball titles. The senior final against Flower’s House was a very close affair, and the 50–47 score was a bit of a nail-biter. The juniors were far too dominant and easily dispatched Julius in the final. The Book brothers were both ranked nationally in their respective age groups and have participated in several basketball training camps outside their school training commitments. impressive small group led by Max Toth. This year, after a focused few weeks, Corfe produced a magnificent full House performance to win the Carey Shield for Best House Choir for its rendition of “You Belong With Me” by Taylor Swift. Great conducting and choreography by Henry Mossman left the auditorium in no doubt that we were the best. The small group – Sam Barnett, Dominic Edmond, James Griffin, Henry Mossman, Ryan Primus, Josh Ratulomai and John Wong – performed an outstanding rendition of “Most Beautiful Girl in the Room” by Flight of the Conchords (arranged by Dominic Edmond). The boys had the rapt attention of the whole auditorium, and deservedly won Best Small Vocal Ensemble. Corfe was then awarded the new Parents’ Association
