members to experience what RCCC is all about. “Safety is paramount,” Rob assures. “We have a team mentality, looking out for one another along each ride.” For their 10th anniversary, RCCC will be sharing a meal and the club’s history at their social party. As a symbol of their significance, the founding members and Norm’s loved ones have been welcomed to lead the cutting of their cake. Meanwhile, their main event is occurring on September 19th. Along with the London Cycling Club and the Silver Spokes Club from Delhi, RCCC will be embarking on one of three designated ride options, commencing at 9:00 am and departing from the historic Pinafore Park. “The accomplishments of these 10 years are credited to this dedicated group of individuals who share such a passion for cycling,” Rob highlights. Their weekly ride program facilitates pace groups, ranging from distance training to social opportunities and more. Rob expresses, “I feel proud to be the third President of this club. Our objective is to continue presenting rides that might be attractive to our members, and to anyone interested in joining.” Rob announces the upcoming Canada Day Ride with the London Cycling Club, for which patriotic gear is encouraged.
