With this having been Cindy’s first ‘mission trip’, she thoughtfully reflects, “We worked hard, and we had fun. This was a very collaborative experience, and it was wonderful to share that with this team.” As they move toward their next goal, Team Canabury is presently fundraising to rebuild the internal water system on the property -- which would then have the ability to connect to the nearby municipal water supply. Wendell details, “This creates a huge monthly cost for the Hanbury Home, as they pay to truck in fresh water.”
To conclude for now, Team Canabury is looking forward to welcoming the Lecontes to their home this summer for a “well-deserved rest”, as the Graves enthuse.
