Archie Martin is passionate and highly knowledgeable about the earlier heritage of the original inhabitants of eastern Cana- da and will gladly tell stories of the Haude- nosenee (Iroquois), Algonquin, Beothuk, Micmac and other nations. The fair runs from September 4 to 7 this
year and o$ers many other fascinating ex- hibits at Agrimania, which also has displays from farmers, veterinarians, and breeders, as well as entertaining instruction about farming and agriculture with demonstra- tions such as sheep shearing. A Western Gymkhana, Hockey Canada Century Tour, the Jersey Show, Western Ga- mes, and the West Coast Lumberjack Show will also be part of Friday’s lineup.
