You’ll also be given 2 x 1-1 MeePng Cards . One is marked ‘ Mee#ng 1 ’ and the other, ‘ Mee#ng 2 ’ etc. Please be sure to swap these Cards with 2 people in Yme for your 1-1 meeYngs.

Guest Speaker Professor Dimo Dimov: ‘3 Ways Never To Be Wrong Again’
Dimo Dimov, is a Professor of InnovaYon and Entrepreneurship and Associate Dean Finance and Planning at the University of Bath. Dimo has been recognised recently as one of the top 100 professors of entrepreneurship worldwide. Dimo holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship from London Business School and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University (USA) and the CEU Graduate School of Business (Hungary). Prior to joining the University of Bath, he was on the faculty at Newcastle University, University of ConnecYcut (USA), and IE Business School (Spain). Prior to entering academia, he was a CFO with Marriof InternaYonal, overseeing two hospitality businesses in Budapest, Hungary with 500 employees and £20m turnover. Dimo's research focuses on enabling, acceleraYng, and funding the entrepreneurial process, from iniYal idea to viable venture, in independent, corporate, and social sebngs. Dimo approaches entrepreneurship as a process of designing a new social structure to fulfil a purpose and develops acYon principles for dealing with the uncertainty and complexity of this endeavour.

Sir Robert (right) is one of the South-West’s best-kept secrets. Discreetly mentoring, always creaYng exciYng new opportuniYes and omen speaking internaYonally, his humble background makes his journey to the top, even more impressive. Join Rob and EVO Founder Jamie Breese (lem) in a pull- no-punches ‘fireside chat’ where Rob will share his inspiraYonal past about leaving school in Bristol with no qualificaYons. As a teenager Rob started his retail journey, scaling the dizzying heights as a shop-assistant in a fishmonger, then a toy shop. His love for cameras and photography secured him a place in his local photographic store - to somehow managing to create a retail empire of 248 stores and exited his business by the Yme he was 22 having created thousands of jobs… and with a cheque for £1.2 million in the mid-1970s. He then went on to join a band which enjoyed number 1 chart posiYons in 30 countries and numerous other ventures including the first video rental shop outside of London, helping to start networking companies and even Richer Sounds.
