Following CORRECT WEIGHT, the Chairman, Mr Neil Wilson, will escort Mr Adam Rytenskild, MD & CEO, Tabcorp, to the Mounting Yard where the 2023 TAB Champions Stakes Trophies will be presented to the Winning Owner, Trainer and Jockey. This segment will be hosted by Mr Eddie McGuire AM, Network 10 Melbourne Cup Carnival Host. TAB Champions Stakes Trophy Presentation Following the Trophy Handover, Mr Neil Wilson and Mr Adam Rytenskild will be escorted to The Winners Bar where formal speeches and acknowledgements will take place. Ms Jaimee Rogers, Host, to introduce. 5.50pm Race 9 WORLD HORSE RACING GRAND HANDICAP Following CORRECT WEIGHT, Mr Steve Rosich, Chief Executive Officer and Director, will escort Mr Geoffrey Riddle, Editorial and Brand Director, World Horse Racing, for Presentation of the Trophy to the Winning Owner. Ms Jaimee Rogers, Host, to introduce. This presentation will take place in The Winners Bar. Guard of Honour for champion jockey and three-time Melbourne Cup winning rider, Damien Oliver. Immediately following Damien Oliver’s final race at Headquarters, his fellow jockeys will create a guard of honour as Damien walks into the Mounting Yard, where the VRC Chairman, Mr Neil Wilson will make a special presentation. 6.00pm 2023 JB Cummings Leading Trainer Award 2023 Ron Hutchinson Leading Jockey Award The presentation of these awards will take place in The Winners Bar following the last race. 6.05pm PIN & WIN COMPETITION Pin & Win prize winners announced live on-course with charity partner Australian Childhood Foundation, a leading not-for-profit organisation supporting children to recover from the trauma of abuse and family violence. This will be hosted by Mr Marc Ohlmus, VRC Host. Major prize is a Lexus 2023 RX350H 2WD plus enhancement pack valued at $102,904 driveaway. Second prize is a collection of luxury watches and fine jewellery from Kennedy valued at $73,500; third prize is a three-night accommodation package in two Prestige Suites for four guests at Melbourne Hotel for the Arts, Sofitel Melbourne On Collins valued at $7,200; and fourth prize is a TCL Television and Home Appliance voucher for $5,000.
