VOTE! NOVEMBER 8TH ELECTION

VOTE IN PERSON Voters can vote on Election Day, November 8, at their designated Polling Location, which will be provided on the back of their Voter Information Guide. Polling place information is also available on the San Bernardino County Registrar of Voters website at www.sbcountyelections.com. You can also return your vote-by-mail ballot in person to a secure ballot drop box, to a voting location, or to the County elections office by 8:00 p.m. on November 8. There is an official permanent and affixed Election Ballot Drop box for mail-in ballots located in front of the Yucaipa Police Station (34144 Yucaipa Blvd., Yucaipa, 92399) and in the parking lot adjacent to the Yucaipa Branch Library (12040 5th St, Yucaipa, CA 92399). All registered voters may vote using a vote-by-mail ballot instead of going to the polls on Election Day. Vote-by- mail ballots can be returned by mail using the prepaid postage as long as it is postmarked on or before November 8, 2022.

DISTRICT-BASED CITY COUNCIL ELECTIONS Every ten years, local governments use new data from the Census to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. While all Councilmem- bers take pride in representing and serving the entire community of Yucaipa, regis- tered voters cast a ballot for one member of the City Council who resides within the same District as the voter. Elections for City Council Districts 1 and 2 will be held on November 8. Current Coun- cilmembers who reside in Districts 3, 4, and 5 will represent their Districts until the next election in November 2024. More information about the November election is available at www.yucaipa.org/elections-and-voter-information.
