the game 6-2. On the road again Sunday, the Nats visited the Nepean Raiders, comfortably clinching a 4-1 victory. With 35 shots on goal put away 4 goals, two in the first and two in the second, only conceding the final goal of the night in last five minutes of the game. The Nats currently stand third (6-1-1-1) in the Yzerman division, tied for second on points with the Navan Grads with a game in hand. They head to North Grenville to take on the Kemptville 73’s on Friday, October 21, followed by another away game in Navan on Sunday. The Nats will return to Rockland after eight consecutive games away from their home ice on October 28.
The Rockland Nationals suffered a crushing away defeat against the Smith Falls Bears on Friday, but redeemed themselves with a strong showing against Nepean. Despite leading off the scoring with an 18th minute power-play goal in the first period by Adriano Lombardo-Tullo, the Nats were unable to maintain the lead, conceding three consecutive goals in the second. Winning one back at the start of the third period was little consolation, as it was fol- lowed up by three more Bears goals to end
