Article Headline/Title Goes Here! Try Something New Thi Season

It’s the end of summer, the kids are headed back to school, and your own fitness routine is … well, how is it? Could it be a little better? If so, that’s okay; the summer slump affects more than the housing market. We tend to see a bit of a dip in our classes during the warmmonths, likely because people spend time outside in the pleasant weather and take care of their kids and family while school is out. That dip just means we can head into fall with new dedication and vigor, and we encourage you to do the same. If your exercise regimen fell by the wayside, there’s no time like the present to correct it. Maybe you can finally get back to the weight room or take that group fitness class. Fall can also be a fantastic time to try out new activities. A lot of people have been interested in obstacle racing; and if you haven’t given it a shot, you’ll love training for your next Spartan Race or Mud Run in our state-of-the-art obstacle facilities. Or maybe you’d like to add some martial arts mojo to your cardio routine; we’ve got several group classes dedicated to doing just that. If you’re chomping at the bit for our tennis facilities to reopen (and trust us, so are we!), then one great way to stay active and be ready for our indoor season is to take advantage of other parts of our facilities that you haven’t tried out before. There truly is something new out there for everyone, no matter what your interests or activity level.

You can check out the full scope of our offerings online at forecourtri.com, but you might be better off asking one of our trainers or staff what they’d recommend. You’ll get different answers from everyone, but all the answers will be good!

Have a Laugh! Avocado and Cucumber Cold Soup

Summer may be drawing to a close, but the heat doesn’t feel like it’s going anywhere soon. Cool off with this light, cold soup and enjoy those last few sunny summer afternoons!

Ingredients

• 1 lemon, juiced • ½ cup cold water • 1 clove garlic • ¾ teaspoon salt • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Directions • Olive oil • 2 medium ripe avocados, halved • 1 large cucumber, halved • 6 stalks spring onions • 1 jalapeno 1. Preheat grill to medium-high. 2. Coat halved avocados with lemon juice to avoid browning. Brush olive oil over avocados, cucumber, spring onions, and jalapeno. Oil grill while hot. 3. Grill vegetables until everything is grilled or slightly charred. Once grilled, remove and place on platter to cool.

4. Chop grilled veggies and puree with lemon juice, cold water, garlic, salt, and black pepper. 5. Once smooth, portion soup into bowls and refrigerate to cool before serving. 6. Garnish with toasted cubed bread, avocados, spring onions, chives, lemon zest, or a drizzle of olive oil, if desired.
